What happens during Sunday worship service?
As you enter the church, a friendly usher will greet you and give you a bulletin to guide you through the service. You can pick up an assisted listening device or large-print bulletin before you are seated.
All of our services feature reading, a children’s message, preaching, prayer, and music. At times, you will be invited to stand, sing, pray, be in silence, or read responsively.
Communion is held the first Sunday of the month in the sanctuary. Communion is served to the congregants while seated. All are welcome to receive communion. Individual communion wafers and juice are handed out prior to service.
Do you offer childcare or Sunday school?
Sunday School programs are offered on Sundays for children in preschool through 8th grade. All grades begin the service with their families in the sanctuary. Children leave the sanctuary for the classrooms after the first verse of the hymn following the offering.
What should I wear?
Some people come dressed in their Sunday best. Others dress more casually. Either way, we believe that God cares more about the state of our hearts than the state of our attire, and encourage you to dress the way that feels most appropriate to you.
How long do services last?
The service lasts about an hour.
Is there a coffee or fellowship time after church?
After each worship service, Fellowship Hall is open for a time of fellowship, wearing our masks. We invite you to strike up a conversation, and make some new friends!
Is the church handicap accessible?
Yes. Handicap parking is available at the top of Norris Ave. To avoid stairs, you must enter the church from Norris Ave away from Route 1. Follow the signs inside through Fellowship Hall to the Sanctuary.
How can I get more information?
